Funding Central website launched
OTS and NCVO deliver information on available funding opportunities
The National Council of Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) and the Office for the Third Sector (OTS) have jointly launched a new free website providing information on funding available.
The new website, Funding Central, provides information about -
- national, local and regional government funding;
- EU funding; and
- national, local and regional charitable funding.
The site provides a search facility that enables organisations to easily identify available grants, contracts and loans in relevant categories of work. It also provides organisations with access to support and advice and information updates and deadlines on current funding opportunities.
From September 2009 the site will include additional facilities that will allow organisations to add a profile to help them find prospective partner organisatons and a secure funder area that will allow funders to share best practice and view information about their funding programmes.
