Cambridge Law Centre (a project of Advice for Life) urgently require a Welfare Rights Case worker.

Salary circa £23,749 to £25,320 per annum plus 10% pension allowance; full-time (37 hours per week); 5 weeks annual leave, plus bank holidays and statutory days.

Cambridgeshire Law Centres (a project of Advice for Life) wish to recruit a Welfare Rights Caseworker to work from the Law Centre based in the centre of Cambridge.

A minimum of 2 years welfare rights experience is required. Also required is experience of managing a varied and complex case load, experience of representation at Social Security Tribunals and experience of taking cases to the Social Security Commissioners and good organisational skills.

Applicants should be able to satisfy the LSC SQM supervisor standards, have experience of working to personal targets to satisfy the LSC contract hours, and experience of working under the Legal Help Scheme.

Some administrative support will be provided but the successful applicant will be required to carry out the majority of their own administrative tasks.

Some travel within the region may be required.
