We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join a team that is dedicated to delivering a high quality, customer focused service. A vacancy exists in the Housing Advice Unit based in Marland House, Central Square, Cardiff.
The post will be involved in providing a comprehensive and specialist debt advice service, focusing especially on mortgage repossession prevention, for people in Cardiff with a particular emphasis on the prevention of homelessness and the appropriate address of housing need.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual, with a proven track record and experience of County Court work in this field, who is keen to learn and self-motivated, to join our team dedicated to delivering a high quality, customer focused service in the Housing Advice Unit within Housing & Neighbourhood Renewal.
You must have significant experience of previous front line debt work and a working knowledge of housing legislation and welfare benefits, and experience of working with the general public in a similar environment. You must have good communication skills and be able to work on your own initiative in what is often a pressurised environment.
This post is subject to a Criminal Records Bureau Enhanced check.
