Hi all. I am continually asked who will be able to access an on-line UC notification when the digital service is expanded further. So, for example, if a UC claimant goes to his/her local CAB/support worker with his/her appropriate log in details - can the adviser/support worker access the claimant’s UC account? Has anyone had any experience of this/come across any problems?
Many thanks in advance

A further question must be - if the client is not present / won’t (understandably) give their log in details to their adviser etc, so the adviser can deal with the enquiry when cliant is not present - will there be any alternative method of contacting DWP (with implicit consent procedures etc.) by which an adviser can establish any information / progress an issue?

Very interesting…pity the JCP staff don’t seem to know much about anything. Doesn’t bode well!

Thanks Jon, very helpful. Guess that means if a claimant remembers their user name and password and their 16 digit PSN, they should be able to log in from anywhere. Does not bode well at all Maggie!
