I have a client whose partner has been on cESA Support Group for many years.
my client has now been awarded cESA Support Group. She has been given the Support Component and her partner has had his Support Component removed.
should they both be getting the Support component since they are both on cESA?

There is only one support component in their couples applicable amount, but the support add on should be given to both in terms of the actual money they receive.
.
Couple rate for ESA in SG = 173.65 (114.85 + 36.20 + 22.60)

If both in SG of ESA then they should get £218.60 (£109.30 each), so no IR top up unless carers premiums or anything else in the mix

Just ensure they both get the £109 each.
