Local Welfare Assistance Schemes closed 2015

Here is a list of seven LWA Schemes that have closed. They all closed this April except Oxfordshire, which closed in 2014. There are two in London. I attach a CSV spreadsheet in case the list below is unreadable.

My guess is that we will find out which schemes have and havn’t closed during the next few weeks.

Council budgets go April to April but whereas Unitaries will presumably know, some lower tiers might still not ?

Looks like NAO are monitoring LWPS schemes.

I don’t think they will find too many up and running.
