Does anyone know?
I’ve got a client - ESA appeal, usual routine,no ponts on assessment, had a year, payments stopped, possible schedule 3 descriptor, appeal listed for the end of April.
But, she has just been awarded an Unemployability Supplement to an Army pension.  I’ve an idea that this makes the ESA appeal redundant (other than the N.I credits issue) because her Unemployability Supplement would be reduced by the ESA amount or vice versa???
Does this ring any bells with anyone?
I’m at that stage of the afternoon where nothing seems clear…

From what I can remember Unemployability supplement is the equivilent benefit from the MOD to incapacity/ESA.  You cannot have both. It depends when the unsupp was back dated too whether she will get ESA.

Thanks for that - I thought it was too good to be true!
