No!!!

At least I didn’t 5 minutes ago when I was looking for the ‘resources’ section and couldn’t find it. Is it me being stupid, or have you decided to do away with it, or are you in the process of adding in the content that was on the old website?

Either way, bring back resources!!

(otherwise it looks fine :) )

how could we leave you without a resources section?!

http://www.rightsnet.org.uk/resources

whilst it has dropped off the navigation bar, there’s still a link to it from the home page .... if you scroll down it sits alongside our latest jobs and training courses panels

cheers - shawn

I’ll need to check this out on iPad and my work PC but certainly on my home PC and logging onto work remotely, which gives me the deep joy of IE 8 it doesn’t work very well at all. The top of the page is very blue and then I get a very big “RIGHTSNET”. If I reduce my magnification then I still get a load of blue and a very bigh “RIGHSTNET” but ultra small unreadable text.

Looks “proper” on IE 11 when I use same PC but logged off remote access. Looks equally proper on Edge. Will check out on Firefox in work tomorrow too.

I’ll report back tomorrow once I’m back in the office if I get a chance to browse.

That said, I much prefer the white on blue from a visual impairment perspective. It’s not perfect but nothing is. What needs to go next is the orange.

I also spent ages looking for ‘Resources’! Can we have it as a title at the top along with ‘discussion’, ‘jobs’ and ‘training’?

Hi Mike .. yes, think we’re coming up to the fifth anniversary of the last stable release of IE8 and it’s largely no longer supported ....

This is what we say on all our new web tools, which I guess will apply to rightsnet too ........... I appreciate through that in some orgs, your tech is bolted down and you don’t get a lot of say!

Thanks Shawn. Works lovely in 10. I only get forced into using 8 when I work remotely at home once a fortnight. It’s not an issue as I can minimise the VPN session and just use my PC browser.
