Hi

Does anyone have an update directory of the DWP escalation numbers (the last one I have is for January 2015)?

Many thanks

If it’s possible to send this to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) I’d be eternally grateful - the ones we pocess at Bristol CAB appear to be outdated.

I’ve just direct messaged you with the list from November 2016 - but can’t guarantee they all work - have had feedback about some numbers that are out of date already!

Update - I have been told they will not issue a list of escalation numbers for UC full service. I have asked how to escalate problems and apparently the best way is via your UC local partnership manager. To get their contact details you should contact the regional partnership manager whose details are available at https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/dwp-partnerships/national-partnership-teams

I’d be very interested in feedback on how it’s working…

We have been escalating via our Partnership Managers in Somerset since we went full service last year and it is working incredibly well (especially compared to the alternatives).

We have also agreed and set up a vulnerable person policy (signed of by DWP legal) with the local JCP office to ensure additional support to vulnerable clients (inc. home/hospital visits by the local office and visiting officer to enable actual claims to be made and verified).
