How dare they take away all the advantages that we would otherwise have had from the wonderful new system. How can they justify not allowing the Welsh people to benefit from ... er .... um ... ah ...

I’m just quadruple checking the first runs of the Future Benefits Model where the UC / CTR combination is providing dreadful outcomes for multiple kids in the default rules. The lower maximum UC is used for the CTR applicable amount which is driving higher excess incomes while, particularly for p/t workers on the same earnings, they can be passported by JSA.
All the Feb - April 2017 part postcodes have been added to http://universalcreditinfo.net ....

Absolutely not gloating, Gareth. UC has turned out to be pretty toxic for many claimants ( and highly problematic for advisers.)
Definitely dreadful outcomes for two-child in general but not sure I follow re the knock-on of 2-child on CTR for UC claimants: UC max/CTR App Amt will be reduced but then it also comes off the income side so effectively CTR neutral?
On a related issue do you know if the Welsh Government is planning to mirror 2-child for non-UC CTR cases? I think a few English LAs will for 2017/18 (although that seems a little premature given no HB regs yet.)

The latest extension means full-service covers just under 12% of the population (excluding NI).

Confirmation that the postcodes in North Kensington will be postponed from 19 July to 4 October -
The roll-out of Universal Credit full service in postcode areas administered by North Kensington Jobcentre will now take place from 4 October 2017, instead of from 19 July 2017. These are: W8, W10 5, W10 6, W10 9 and W11 as listed in Part 29 of the Schedule to Commencement Order No. 29. This decision is made under Regulation 4 of the Universal Credit (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2014.

We’ve updated https://universalcreditinfo.net with those postcode areas that are going full service on Wednesday 4 October 2017.
The new areas are now shown on

The latest extension means takes full service coverage from about 16% of postcodes now (excluding NI) to nearly 35% of postcodes by the end of January.
