Does anybody know if a cl. can get ESA paid whilst in residential care home. I know that the cl. cannot get daily living component of PIP paid (although I did see that mobility may be possible) but can find nothing on this area any help gratefully appreciated

ESA is paid while a person is in a care home, premiums will be affected if PIP/DLA stops. PIP daily living may still be paid in circs where the cl pays their own fees.

Don’t forget also that if the local authority are funding the placement, the ESA will be taken into account for the financial assessment.
