Treated as having LCW (alcohol - residential rehab) - how does it work in practice?

I was wondering whether anyone could tell me how this is meant work in practice.  If we provide evidence that she meets the criteria for being treated as having LCW (residential rehab), can they make a decision now or does she just wait in the queue so to speak? Thank you very much

I’m not sure about in London, but up here in the Midlands if you provide evidence such as that it will simply be referred on to CHDA without anybody reading it.

However, if you send it in then ring them everyday until it is confirmed as received, then explain that it is determinative and ask a DM to read it and ring you that will usually shake a decision out.
