Question raised in the UC work being done by Cit A, wonder if anyone has any ideas who to approach It appears the tick boxes on the back of prescriptions still don’t have an UC option.  Client was refused free prescriptions despite being entitled. I know it’s only been 4 years since UC started…but you think by now….

The HC1 (England) version
http://www.nhs.uk/Healthcosts/Documents/HC1 Front Page.pdf   excludes Universal Credit as a benefit which passports to exemption from health costs.      (You will need to copy the whole web address to display the page.  The system doesn’t cope with a space in the address.)

The Scottish version
http://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/HealthCosts/Documents/HealthCosts/HC1_Scotland.pdf    makes it clear that UC gives entitlement to full help with health costs.  Does this apply only in Scotland?
