Please can someone remind me whether PC is informed automatically when someone is awarded Attendance Allowance?
Many thanks!

Computer interface does not break the chain of causation for overpayments

they do share information on a daily basis apparently, but above states that this is not enough to suggest that each has been notified.

Yes, there is a specific form which is returned to local offices on a weekly basis as I recall although no doubt that’s moved to some lesser frequency. As already stated it is of limited use as it does not break the chain of causation.

Just as well really as when I asked our local PS to discuss them they went and found them piling up in a storeroom and came back with “oh, that’s what they’re for!”.

Thank you both.  This is an o/p for capital reasons, not AA ceasing. AA started during the o/p period but clients did not notify.  I was just wondering about the mechanism really.
