SSCS1
Hi,
So, the .gov site says that the existing version of the SSCS1 has been withdrawn https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/notice-of-appeal-against-a-decision-of-the-department-for-work-and-pensions-sscs1
But I can’t find a link to the updated version, can anyone else see it? The HMCTS form finder site still has the old form, and there is no reason the old form wouldn’t be accepted as valid. But is annoying and confusing for claimants.

News to me. How irritating (and typical). We’re still using the old one. In fact, I found a stack of GL24s in an overlooked drawer the other day. Perhaps we should revert to using them.
There’s no prescribed format for the SSCS1 so as long as it’s up I wholly intend to use the old one.
The link to the document still works from that gov.uk link as well.

The link you gave led to the old version of the form when you posted it with a note saying it was out of date.
But now the link redirects to a different page which in turn links to the form.
I wonder if it was actually the web page that was out of date rather than the form.
Yes i think you’re right they have redirected the page now and the .gov site no longer has the form, just a link to HMCTS. I think someone must be reading this *waves*

BEST EVER APPEAL FORM competition
My best ( client) handed in his appeal request on a cigarette packet he had opened out and written in at the jobcentre.
I dont remember the exact words but was something like
‘What a load of tosh, look at this again, I am entitled to Unemployment benefit’
and when we got to the appeal , in person the said appeal was photocopied and in the bundle
Tribunal chair as then was explained you could appeal on anything but he prefered the proper form

I can’t beat that but I did have a client who frequently handed in complaints about me/our service which were written (incoherently) in pencil on the back of his betting slips. Apparently he did the same with his local surgery and various other local agencies.
I helped a mate draft a GL24 that said, simply, “I am not dead”.
I would have loved to have taken it to appeal…
