after this announcement https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/universal-credit-transition-to-full-service

is this basically removing all the gateway conditions in these areas? so if you have dla etc etc and need to make a claim of any type your moving on to uc?

Steven - yes, all new claims will be for UC, using the all singing all dancing online system. Do you work with anyone in East Lothian?

I’ve had a few in West Lothian but nothing in East so far…most are glasgow/north lan.

Current situation is good and bad for me as most if my clients hit at least one gateway so I’m not really seeing any live uc cases but that’s got a downside in that I can’t really answer any practical questions as I’m not getting the practice with it.
