Does anybody know if the Permitted Work rules and earning limits apply during a sanction period?

Have there been any test cases?

I’m not aware of any caselaw and have not seen such a case but I can’t see why a sanction would change anything.

The ESA claim is not terminated, it remains live, the payment is just withheld for a time (and the WRAG/SG component continues to get paid if it is a main phase ESA claim).
