Just fallen across this from last month .... re Deloitte having been appointed to sell A4E

- Three sources confirmed that a sale process was underway, with one suggesting the business could be broken up and sold in chunks.

- One source said the sale process began in January and that the business was being offered to trade before private equity. A group of northern-based colleges are thought to be interested in buying it, they added.

- Another however suggested that HR and training firm Staffline might buy the firm. Five private equity firms, among them HG Capital, Endless and Rutland partners are said to have looked at the business too.

And the Watching A4e blog is saying this week ‘I’ve had a tip-off that A4e has been sold and the staff will be informed on Monday.’

Are any of the parties offering discounted shares in A4E to small investors in their manifesto?
