Not a complete benefits query however if a client goes back to work after being off with illness on a ‘phased return’ and on reduced hours, can the employer just pay the client/employee purely for the hours actually worked. Would there be any bearing whether the client was in receipt of SSP or ESA prior to returning or could the client still claim these benefits (or part of) upon returning. Many thanks.
