Reports - in less than positive terms - that Maximus are to take over the WCA from Atos -

“Global firm Maximus are in pole position for the £500million UK Government contract, despite a history of allegations of corruption, incompetence and discrimination.

The successful bidder will be announced next week ....”

According to their website Maximus are already providing the DWP with what look like WR Activity or jobseeking services in the SE of England

BBC website are now reporting the story. However, absolutely no mention of Maximus’ somewhat chequered history!
