We work in an area that from 17/11 when a DLA review is requested, claimants will have to claim PIP.  My understanding is that you have to be between 16/64 in order to claim PIP, so what happens if someone 65+ requests a review of their DLA.  Does it remain a DLA review or do they have to claim PIP?

Once the transfer starts, it depends on the date on which someone turned 65. Anyone who had reached the age of 65 by 8/4/13 will not be transferred, eveyone else (eventually) will be, and will be invited to claim PIP if reporting a change of circumstances after the ‘relevant date’. See Reg 3 of these regulations: http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2013/387/regulation/3
