One of those ‘why I despair’ moments

Had to share this. Rang to chase up on a MR request (negative RTR decision). No notes to indicate it had been received so was promised call-back. Which duly took place. Officer stated:

- No idea why we would be asking about a MR as client had ‘exhausted all rights of appeal’ (she hasn’t)
- MR not appropriate for a negative RTR decision (!)
- Any additional evidence would have to be sent to the Home Office…

So there you go.

You couldn’t make it up! But apparently the DWP can, as they go along! Makes me wonder exactly how many more DMs they have who are totally ignorant of benefits legislation or procedure?

Hey Paul, how come Ros has ‘banned’ me from using *‘s but you get away with using then for words like that!? Not fair (throws toys etc).
