claims for HB when claiming JSA/ESA

I have a tenant who claimed ESA in September and said that she also wanted to claim HB when the question was asked by the DWP representative.  Is there away that I can get HB reinstated from the date that she told DWP that she wanted to claim HB as well as ESA.  This has become a problem now that there is only one month backdating allowed.

How about an any-time revision, on the grounds of official error on the part of the DWP who failed to act upon the claimant’s specific request? Worth a try, although I suppose HB will argue that the claimant should have made sure that a claim had been made.
