I have a client who used to get WTC as a disabled worker for working 16 hours

Now claiming UC, but they have told him there is no such provision
in the work allowance of UC, so no extra UC

Is this correct? Struggling to find any element in UC that reflects this

Thanks

Yep - UC works on the Work Capability Assessment and pays no heed to receipt of DLA or PIP, and the hours don’t matter either.

http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2013/376/regulation/22/made  - has the basis of it, but bear in mind work allowances have been slashed from April
