I have just read through this. Somewhat vacuous and self-congratulatory, it strives to tell us, as far as I can see, as little as possible.

‘We aim to further increase accessibility of sanctions information: stakeholder feedback suggests that many claimants will seek information only when their benefit has already been stopped.’

Shouldn’t that read - ‘many claimants are not told by us that their benefit has been stopped and they find out the hard way’?

The guys (and girls) at the DWP are workin’ hard and doin’ swell!

So can we expect to see a marked drop in the numbers of inappropriate sanctions, clients not informed of appeal rights, clients not informed of hardship payments?

I wonder…..
