Please can someone advise me when Income Support regs were changed to tariff income being applied for savings of over £6,000?

6 October 2003 - eta as per Jon’s reply below, this was only for PC, HB and CTB if client or partner was aged 60 or over and not claiming IS or JSA.

I think the main change to £6,000 was April 2006.

For people aged over 60 the lower limit was £6000 in April 2003.  I don’t have easy access to the rates before then.

Thank you, I AM sorry, I was enquiring about people under retirement age but failed to put that in original message! That is under 60.
