Missing IR ESA

I have come across a number of cases where people are migrated from IB to CB ESA in the SG but no one seems to notice that they are entitled to IR ESA as well .

I was wondering if anyone has, or could point me towards, any statistics regarding how many people may have missed out on IR ESA.

Does anone know if an ESA 3 was automatically sent to each claimant as they were migrated?

I haven’t got statistics Pete but there’s a discussion thread here which might be useful - http://www.rightsnet.org.uk/forums/viewthread/5928/

Thanks for the link, it seems like widespread problem and I am liasing with the manager of colleagues who do financial assessments to look out for it.

I’m sure they will do it anyway (however few people there are) but as this will no doubt add to their already high workload I was hoping for some encouraging stats to show what a large problem it is and how worthwhile it would be to try and identify people who have been underpaid.
