Client suffers from Multiple Sclerosis and currently on SSP.  I think she can claim for Income Support.  However, I am worried about her having to attend a work focused interview.  I think I undertand Regulation 3(5) of The Social Security (Incapacity Benefit Work-focused Interviews) Regulations 2008 as saying that she would not need to attend if on the day she is treated as incapable of work in accordance with regulation 10 of The Social Security (Incapacity for Work) (General) Regulations 1995.  Would she be able to satisfy this by virtue of her diagnosis or does she have to be an incapacity benefit claimant?

Would her partner also need to attend?

I am a little confused so any help would be appreciated…
