Hi. Can I just check, the BRMA listed in this legislation are to see the 3% rise?

That’s right as I see it -  the list of BRMA set out in the Order SI.No.1179/2016 will attract the 3 per cent increase but only for the size of property in column two of the table - so for example in the BRMA for Aylesbury only one bed exclusive use and two bed LHA rates will attract the 3 per cent increase (all other property sizes in that BRMA won’t attract the increase). Any resulting increased LHA rate will not be able to exceed maximum rates as set out in the Order for each size of property.

Local authorities enttiled to the 3 per cent uplift of LHA rates for more expensive areas, are set out in table 4 of Valuation Office Agency LHA tables. Includes which size properties are affected and total value of the increased LHA, along with monthly equivalents.
