Spousal maintenance
Fri 16-May-08 02:48 PM

Ongoing negotiations about a possible £250 pm spousal maintenance claim for our client. No deps and in receipt of IB, HB/CTB. Are there any disregards or is it all taken into consideration?

There's no family premium so no £15 disregard and I can't find any reference to the £10 disregard as it would be for IS.

I don't think the £10 applies to IS either, Sue. That only applies to earnings. As far as I know all weekly or regularly paid maintenance counts as income for HB and CTB.
