Salford Welfare Rights Service has produced an up-to-date benefits guide for incapacity benefit claimants who are moving into work.

Aimed at service users and staff who support them, the guide is designed to be easy to use and accessible.

It includes basic information on –

  • how you can keep your disability living allowance and work;
  • how you can do permitted work and stay on incapacity benefit;
  • how part-time earnings affect income support and housing benefit; and
  • how you can get working tax credit, return to work credit and other help if you move into full-time work.

Make It Work - A guide to incapacity benefits and employment is available here.

Details of other Salford Welfare Rights Service publications are available here.
