I wondered if someone could clarify this for me; I had believed that holiday pay received after leaving work and pay in lieu of notice would now be disregarded for HB/CTB etc.
However, on reading the explanatory notes to SI 2007 2016, I noticed this: introduce a new disregard for most earnings normally paid on the termination of employment where this occurs before the date in respect of which the claimant first satisfies the conditions for entitlement to benefit
I'm requesting backdating of HB to 1/10/7 and my client was paid holiday pay on 19/10/7. Does this mean it will be taken into account as income?
