s.r.p or s.d.a ???
Fri 24-Oct-08 08:45 AM

hello

have a cl. aged 70 whi is in receipt of s.d.a and p.c (gc).
approx. 4 years ago he was advised by a member of dwp staff to defer his s.r.p as he may be better off financially in the long run.
cl. feels his s.r.p amount is less than the amount of s.d. a he presently receives.
however, should s.d.a continue to be paid after cl. has reached pensionable age, or should cl. have claimed s.r.p instead ?
either way, i know, this will not have any eefect on his overall benefit entitlement because of p.c (gc) but i just feel something is wrong ... hhhmmmmmmmm ???

any ideas greatly appreciated thanx ...

pete
