Bill - Is it the intermediaries line, or the public one?

Seems to be the public line.

I have the other advisers number but thats still an 0845 number that we will still need to use sometimes.

This is an East Kilbride number - will it be any use for advisers outside Scotland?

As the TC helpline is so difficult to get through to coming up to 31st July deadline, I have been telling people to keep trying and log date and time of failed calls, and/or send review/declaration info in post asap. I can see them having to do a lot of backdating of renewal claims after 31st July.

Used 3 times today by clients in our office as an emergency last minute effort to beat the deadline and all 3 were answered right away and dealt with as a normal call.
